Project Details
Richert Homes is a family-run housebuilder delivering high-quality new homes across Yorkshire. As the business evolved from smaller projects into a trusted builder with multiple active sites, they needed a brand and website that better reflected where they are today: professional and experienced, but still personal, local and approachable. At the same time, they wanted their developments presented with a level of polish and clarity that matched the quality of the homes themselves.
The brief
The project had two clear objectives. First, to create a refreshed identity for the move from Richert & Co Developments to Richert Homes, with a name and brand that felt more customer-facing and memorable. Second, to build a new website that could confidently showcase their developments, support enquiries, and attract land opportunities across Yorkshire.
In parallel, Richert Homes wanted a strong set of marketing assets for a live development, so prospective buyers could understand the homes and the setting quickly and clearly, across both desktop and mobile.
Brand direction
We developed a visual identity rooted in the Yorkshire setting that defines many Richert Homes sites. A palette of greens, Yorkshire stone and warm gold accents was selected to represent nature, heritage materials and quality, creating a calm and confident foundation across all touchpoints.
A key design principle was a simple hillside wave motif, derived from the surrounding landscape. Starting from photography of Yorkshire hills, we refined the form into a smooth graphic element that could be used consistently throughout the brand, from digital layouts to signage. This created a recognisable thread across communications, without overpowering the homes themselves.
We also defined a clear approach to imagery: natural light, clean compositions, and a balanced mix of lifestyle, drone and CGI content that feels authentic and premium rather than overly glossy.
Website design and build (Webflow)
With the branding established first, the website could be designed efficiently without rework. The structure was developed around clarity and ease of use, with dedicated areas for:
Our New Homes (development listings and individual development pages)
About (the family story and values)
Our Design Principles (an insight into how Richert Homes designs and builds)
News (planning, build progress and updates to support SEO)
FAQs (helpful answers written for real buyer questions)
New Land (a dedicated section for landowners and agents)
A standout feature of the site is an interactive virtual tour walkthrough, allowing users to explore the development in a more immersive way. The tour was designed to work smoothly across desktop and mobile devices, helping people get a feel for the site wherever they are, before arranging a visit.
Full development marketing package
Alongside the website build, we produced the complete set of marketing assets for the development, including:
All external CGIs for the homes and street scenes
Drone photography to capture the setting and progress
Sales plans and supporting visuals for marketing and enquiries
The interactive virtual tour walkthrough hosted within the website experience
This ensured the launch materials were consistent, accurate and aligned with the new Richert Homes brand, creating a seamless experience from first impression through to enquiry.
The outcome
The finished work gives Richert Homes a consistent, confident presence across digital and print, supported by a high-quality marketing toolkit for live developments. The identity feels rooted in Yorkshire and aligned with the way they build: thoughtful sites, quality materials and care in the details. The website provides a clear platform for customers to explore new homes and for landowners to understand how Richert Homes approaches new opportunities, supporting the next stage of growth for the business.
